Company Info

Information about setting up new company in Comissio.

After registration, the admin receives an email with a link. The link will route them to the login page where they will need to change their password after logging in successfully with the temporary password. Changing the password will also be available anytime for all uses and accessed from the upper right corner menu.

Once the Admin has the logged in to the system they should confirm or populate the details in the Company info pages.

The information entered in the Agency Services Email Address and Phone number will appear in the email Agents receive to view their statements to contact if they have questions. The Tax ID field for the company will be used in the process of generating 1099 forms.

Note: The Comissio Admin will make the Tenant’s account active at the end of the implementation process and then a tab and page to add a Company Logo is available under Company. The feature to input a logo is covered in another section in this document.

Bank Information for ACH payments

If ACH payments are to be created, the banking information will need to be populated for the company. Setting up ACH payments requires, working with the banking institution, adding banking information for the company, and adding banking information for the Agents.

 

The ACH page can be edited after selecting ‘ACH Enabled.’ Then following fields need to be populated:

  • Company Number. Populate this as directed by your bank with your IRS Federal Tax ID number or a unique number provided by the bank. The Company Name will default in from the Company Name Tenant’s Company Name and is truncated to ten characters.
  • Routing Number.
  • Displayed Company Name. This name may appear on the receivers’ statements prepared by the Receiving Financial Institution. It will at first default in from the Company Name Tenant’s Company Name and be truncated to sixteen characters but will allow editing.
  • Bank Name. This bank name is displayed after the Routing number is entered.
  • Company Entry Description. This is for the description of the transaction and then is displayed on the receivers’ bank statement by the Receiving Financial Institution.
  • Header Reference Code. This is an optional field that is used to describe the input file for internal accounting purposes.
  • Batch Header Note. This is for a Company’s internal use as desired. It will populate the Company Discretionary Data field in the Batch Header Record of the NACHA file.

Adding Company Logo

A company using Comissio can add their own logo to be displayed within the commission system and in the Statements created for each Agent when a cycle is closed. After implementation is completed, the Comissio Admin will enable White Label.

When Enabled White Label has been enabled by the Comissio Admin, the Tenant’s Admin will see a tab in their Company Info page.

To add the logo, browse and select the file you want to use. Then select Upload, (give it a moment to complete loading), review logo appearance, then select save. The page displays the recommended resolution:

After selecting Upload, the file will display for review. If needed, Remove can be selected to choose a different file, or to replace an existing logo file. When save is selected a message will display and the logo will then be seen in the upper left-hand corner in Comissio and in Agent’s statements. If the logo file is removed and not replaced, the Comissio logo will again be displayed.
