Company Info

Information about setting up new company in Comissio.

After a tenant account has been created, Company‑level information is automatically pre‑populated based on details provided during the account request and implementation process.

Admins should review and update this information to ensure accuracy, as it is used for:

    • Agent communications
    • Commission statements
    • End‑of‑Year 1099 processing

Step by Step

    • From the upper‑right corner, navigate to CompanyCompany Info.
    • Review all pre‑populated company information.
    • Update or complete the following sections as needed:
      • Basic Information
      • Address
      • Bank Information
        • Bank Information may be completed later when preparing for ACH payments.
        • This section can be skipped if ACH payments will not be used.
    • Save changes.

    ℹ️ Best Practices

    • Enter an Agency Services Email Address and Phone Number if you want that contact details displayed in statement notification emails sent to Agents.

    • Verify the company Tax ID, as it is used as the Payor when generating 1099 forms.



    Additional Notes

      • The Comissio Admin activates the tenant account at the end of the implementation process.
      • Once the account is active, an additional Company Logo tab becomes available under the Company menu.
      • Logo configuration is covered in a separate section of this user guide.

    Bank Information for ACH payments

    If ACH payments are to be generated from Comissio, banking information must be populated at the company level. ACH setup typically involves working with the company’s banking institution, adding banking information for the company, and later adding banking information for Agents.

    This section applies only if ACH payments will be used.

    Step by Step

      1. From the upper right corner, navigate to CompanyCompany Info.
      2. Select Bank Information.
      3. Set ACH Enabled.
      4. Complete the applicable banking fields.
      5. Save changes.

    Bank Information Fields

    • Company Number: Populate this value as directed by your bank, typically using the company’s IRS Federal Tax ID or a unique number provided by the bank. The Company Name defaults from the Tenant’s Company Name and is truncated to ten characters.
    • Routing Number: Bank routing number used for ACH file generation.
    • Displayed Company Name: Name that may appear on receivers’ bank statements as prepared by the Receiving Financial Institution. This value defaults from the Tenant’s Company Name, is truncated to sixteen characters, and can be edited.
    • Bank Name: Displayed automatically after the Routing Number is entered.
    • Company Entry Description: Description of the transaction displayed on the receivers’ bank statements by the Receiving Financial Institution.
    • Header Reference Code: Optional field used to describe the input file for internal accounting purposes.
    • Batch Header Note: Optional field used for company reference that populates the Company Discretionary Data field in the Batch Header Record of the NACHA file.

    ℹ️ Best Practices

    • Confirm required ACH values and formatting with your banking institution before enabling ACH payments.
    • Review defaulted and truncated company name values to ensure they identify your organization as intended.

    Adding Company Logo

    A company using Comissio can add its own logo to be displayed within the Comissio application and in Agent statements generated when a commission cycle is closed.

    ℹ️ After implementation is completed, the Comissio Admin enables White Label functionality. Once enabled, the Tenant’s Admin will see a Company Logo tab within the Company Info page.

    Step by Step

      • From the upper right corner, navigate to CompanyCompany Info.
      • Select the Company Logo tab.
      • Select Browse and choose the logo file to upload.
      • Select Upload and allow time for the file to load.
      • Review the logo appearance.
      • Select Save.

    If needed, select Remove to choose a different file or replace an existing logo.


    Logo Requirements

    Recommended Logo Resolution: 300 × 90 pixels
    Accepted File Types: .gif, .jpg, .png
    Maximum File Size: 5 MB


    ℹ️ Best Practices

    • Use a logo sized close to the recommended resolution to avoid scaling or distortion.
    • Review the logo after upload to confirm it displays correctly in Comissio, Agent statements, and the Agent Dashboard.
