Contracts hold Commission Rates. They need to be created before updating the primary Agent/Organization and creating new Agents/Organizations. The Contract assigned to the Agent, and any Contract used from a Custom Setting as an Alternate Contract, will govern which Commission Rates come in and apply to the Commissions that are calculated in a cycle for a new Policy.
Contracts can be imported. When importing Commission Rates, if the Contract referenced does not already exist, the system will add the Contract, so it does not need to be added separately.
