E&O Insurance
Error and Omission insurance information protects the agent and the company against costly legal claims.
Errors and Omissions (E&O) insurance protects both the Agent and the Company against potential legal claims. The E&O Insurance page within Agent Details is used to track E&O coverage information for an Agent or Organization.
E&O records may be entered manually or created through an import.

Purpose of E&O Tracking
Tracking E&O insurance information allows administrators to:
- Maintain a record of required professional liability coverage
- Verify whether an Agent or Organization has coverage on file
- Track coverage effective and expiration dates for compliance purposes
This information is informational and does not itself enforce commission or payment restrictions unless used in conjunction with other business processes.
E&O Insurance Fields
The following fields are maintained on the E&O Insurance page:
- On File: Indicates whether E&O insurance information is on file for the Agent or Organization.
- E&O Issuer: Identifies the insurance provider issuing the E&O policy.
- Policy / Certificate No: Stores the policy or certificate number associated with the coverage.
- Effective Date: The date the E&O policy becomes effective.
- Expiration Date: The date the E&O policy expires.
- Notes: Optional field for additional information or internal references related to the coverage.
Managing E&O Records
- Select Add to create a new E&O insurance record.
- Existing E&O records can be reviewed and updated as needed.
- Records created through imports follow the same structure and are displayed on this page.
When finished entering or updating E&O information, select Save to apply changes to the Agent or Organization record.
