Issuers serve as foundational reference data in Comissio and are used when defining:
- Commissionable Products
- Commission Rates
- Policies
Each Issuer represents a company associated with one or more Commissionable Products.

Issuers Detail page – Add Issuer
Step by Step

- Navigate to Products → Issuers.
- The Issuers list page is displayed.
- Select Add New Issuer to create a new Issuer or select an existing Issuer to edit.
- Enter or update Issuer details:
- Issuer Name
- Description
- Status
-
- Select Save.
Issuers – List Page
The Issuers list page displays all Issuers available to the Tenant.
From this page, you can:
- View existing Issuers
- Add new Issuers
- Edit Issuer details
- Display only Active Issuers
Issuers – Detail Page
The Issuer detail page allows you to manage individual Issuer records.
Key fields:
• Issuer Name: The name of the insurance carrier or company.
• Description: Optional descriptive information about the Issuer.
• Status: Controls whether the Issuer is Active and available for selection when creating Products.
Issuers Created Through Imports
When importing Commissionable Products, if an Issuer does not exist for the Tenant, the system will automatically create the Issuer.
This behavior reduces setup time by eliminating the need to add Issuers separately before importing Products.
