Log History

Notes can be saved for Agents in the Log History page.

The Log History page within Agent Details is used to record and review notes related to interactions or activities associated with an Agent or Organization. Log History entries provide an internal audit trail and are intended for administrative reference.

Creating Log History Entries

Log History entries are added directly from the Log History tab within Agent Details.

When adding a new Log History record, the following fields are available:

    • Category: Required. Identifies the type of log entry.
    • Subject: Optional short description summarizing the entry.
    • Notes: Required. Detailed notes describing the interaction or event.

Select Add to save the log entry. Saved entries are immediately displayed in the Log History grid.

Default and Custom Log History Categories

Comissio includes four default Log History Categories available for selection when creating log entries.

Additional categories can be created and maintained by admins:

    • Category management is accessed from the upper‑right menu
    • Selecting Add New Category allows new categories to be created
    • Newly created categories become available for selection when adding Log History records

This allows organizations to tailor Log History categories to match internal processes.

Viewing Log History Entries

All saved Log History entries are displayed in a grid on the Log History page.

The grid displays:

    • Date and Time: When the entry was created
    • User: User who created the entry
    • Category: Selected category
    • Subject: Entered subject, if provided
    • Notes: Summary text of the entry

Entries are read‑only once saved and serve as a historical record.

Searching Log History

The Log History page includes a search and filter option that is accessed by selecting the funnel icon.

The search panel allows filtering by:

    • Date range
    • User
    • Category
    • Subject
    • Notes

After entering search criteria, select Update Results to refresh the list.
Select Clear Search Filters to reset all search fields.

Usage Considerations

    • Log History entries are informational and do not affect commissions, payments, or Agent behavior
    • Entries are intended for internal documentation and consistency
    • Log History can be used to support audits, reviews, or Agent inquiries

Editing and Deleting Log History Entries

Log History entries may be edited or deleted under limited conditions.

When the appropriate feature flag is enabled, an Agent Log History entry can be edited or deleted only by the user who originally created the entry, and only within a 24‑hour window from the time the entry was created.

Edit and Delete Permissions

A Log History entry can be edited or deleted when all of the following conditions are met:

    • The current user is the creator of the Log History entry
    • Fewer than 24 hours have elapsed since the entry was created

When these conditions are met:

    • Expanding the Log History row allows the user to edit any of the fields
    • A Delete button is displayed
    • Selecting Delete permanently removes the Log History entry (hard delete)

Edit and Delete Restrictions

A Log History entry cannot be edited or deleted when any of the following are true:

    • The current user did not create the entry
    • More than 24 hours have elapsed since the entry was created

When these conditions apply:

    • Log History fields are read‑only
    • The Delete button is not displayed
    • The entry remains visible for reference but cannot be modified

Auditing Consideration

This behavior ensures:

    • Log History remains reliable as an audit record
    • Recent entries can be corrected by the original author
    • Older or third‑party entries cannot be altered
