Commission Rates MAPD & PDP Report
This report displays Commission Rates for Medicare Advantage and Medicare Prescription Commission Rates. Since Rates for MAPD/PDP Policies have fields for Street and Initial and are completely different than the ‘From Month’ and ‘To Month’ rates for non-MAPD Products, they are the only two Product Types in the filter. In the non-MAPD version for Commission Rates, Product Types for Medicare Advantage and Medicare Prescription are not available for selections.
The Commission Rates MAPD & PDP report results can be exported, changes made to that file, and then that file can be imported to make changes in existing Commission Rates. When re-importing rates to make changes, the system will look for existing matching Commission Rates by matching Contract + Issuer + Plan Name + Effective Date (From).
Commission Plan Rates MAPD & PDP Report
Policy Commission Distribution MAPD & PDP
This report displays the Commission Distribution of Policies by Issuer for those with Product Types Medicare Advantage and Medicare Prescription. Only those two Product Types are selections on the filter for this report and are not in the selections for Product Type in the non-MAPD version of this report.
As the number of Policies can be large, and the lines in the Commission Distribution includes for every Agent in the hierarchy of that Policy, it is restricted by Issuer to reduce the size of the results.
The results from existing Commission Distributions can be exported using this report, changes made to that file, and then that file can be imported to make changes. Since the import has a choice of using the Comissio Agent ID, or the Carriers Writing Agent ID, there is a column for the Writing Agent ID in the report that is not used in the report display but is needed for the import.
Policy Commission Distribution MAPD & PDP
Commission History by Policy or Agent
This report provides information from the Results page in Commission Cycles. It has been updated to include both the fields for non-MAPD and those for MAPDPDP. When a line in the report represents one type or the other, then fields not needed are populated with $0.00 or zero. So, when the Policy is not for Medicare, then the Street and Override fields are populated with $0.00. When the Policy commissions are for Medicare, then the fields for Advance are zero and those for Advanced commissions and Advance Recovery are populated with $0.00. This allows the report to bring back results for commissions on all Policies.
It is still required to enter at least one of the following: starting and ending date, from 1 to 5 Agents, or 1 to 5 Policy numbers. Other filters are by Issuer, Agent ID, Product Type, Upline ID, or Plan Name. If Upline ID is used, it will show you all Agents that are downline from the selected Agent ID, and not just the Agents that directly report to that Upline ID. As there are more columns that fit on a page, the scroll bar must be used to see all columns, or the results exported for analysis.
