Summary Page

The Summary page summarizes commission calculations from the Results page for each Agent.

The Summary page summarizes commission calculations from the Results page for each Agent. It also displays balance and applied information on Chargebacks, Adjustments and Agent Balance.

There are also has features for a simple search, Advanced search, export to excel or csv, and column options to hide columns.

The Summary page displays the following fields:

  • Agent ID – Comissio ID for the Agent.
  • Name – name of the Agent or Business Name if designated an organization.
  • Direct Commission – commission when the Writing Agent (Level 1).
  • Override Commission – commission when Agent Level is greater than 1.
  • Chargeback Balance – total outstanding Chargebacks for the Agent for all Issuers.
  • Chargeback Applied – Chargebacks applied this cycle to the Agent.
  • Adjustment Balance – total outstanding Adjustments for the Agent for all Issuers or no Issuer.
  • Adjustments Applied – Adjustments applied this cycle to the Agent.
  • Admin Fee – sum of all Admin Fee applied to the Agent this cycle. It is the total assessed and can be for advanced-based Admin Fee and/or commission-based Admin Fee. See the section for Admin fee for more details.
  • Net – amount payable to the Agent.
  • Current Form 1099 – amount applied to 1099 this cycle.
  • Beginning Agent Balance – Agent Balance from the last cycle but can also include any Agent Balance imports after that last cycle.
  • New Advances - amount received from Advances for the Agent in this Cycle.
  • Advance Recovery - amount credited for recovering Advances.
  • Ending Agent Balance – final Agent Balance total from: Beginning Agent Balance + New Advances – Advance Recovery - Chargebacks and affect (+/-) of Adjustments that have ‘Apply to Agent Balance checked. (Note: there are two rare scenarios than can affect Ending Agent Balance- Balance Increase when commissions are negative, and Net Increase when there more Advance Recovery than Agent Balance. See additional sections below or in other sections.)
  • Condition – column to display if Agent is affected by one of the features- On-hold, Terminated and Not Vested, or Commission Forfeit. (See related section for details).

The Summary page accessed for a closed cycle has the following differences:

  • Chargeback Balance – is not displayed.
  • Adjustment Balance – is not displayed.
  • Balance Increase – additional field in closed runs populated when commissions are less than zero and Agent Balance is increased. Displays value that was added to Agent Balance. Field is located after Advance Recovery.
  • Net Increase – additional field in closed runs populated when Ending Agent Balance would have gone less than zero, so Net is increased instead. Field is located after the Balance Increase column and before the Ending Agent balance. See section on Closed Commission Runs or Debit balance for more information on Balance Increase and Net Increase.

By expanding a line for an Agent in the Summary page, the following options are available:

Edit/View Adjustments – After Adjustments have been applied, this opens the Adjustment Allocation page with more details of the Adjustment records that have been applied and allow changing the allocated amounts.

View Commission Details – this takes the user to the Results page.

View Chargeback Allocations - After Chargebacks have been applied, this opens the Chargeback Allocation page with more details of the Chargeback records that have been applied and allow changing the allocated amounts.

Agent Statement – opens a pdf copy of the Agent Statement with details of the cycle pages and applied Chargebacks and Adjustments at the time the option is selected. It can be a useful tool to help an Admin look at overall details for an Agent, but the pdf and csv Statements should NOT be considered final after the cycle has been closed.

Agent Statement Activity CSV – csv version of the results activity for the selected Agent.

Agent Statement Chargeback CSV – csv version of Chargebacks applied for the selected Agent.

Agent Statement Adjustment CSV – csv version of Adjustments applied for the selected Agent.

If the Statement Type CSV is set to Consolidated in Settings, instead of the 3 separate csv Statements, one link ‘Activity, Chargeback and Adjustment Report CSV’ will be displayed and only one csv Statement will be created.

By expanding a line for an Agent in the Summary page, the following options are available:

Other Options from the Summary page:

Cancel Run – Causes the cycle to be abandoned and changes all items (Transactions, Chargebacks, Adjustments) that were associated with the cycle to have the status changed back to open.

Create ACH – Creates the ACH file that can then be imported into the banks system to pay Agents.

Non-ACH Report – Generates a report of Agents and their Net for all that are not set up to pay via ACH. If all Agents are set up to pay via ACH in the cycle, then the button will be greyed out. See the section on this report for more information.

Close Run – Closes the cycle. Generates the Statements for all the Agents. Changes all items (Transactions, Chargebacks, Adjustments) that were associated with the cycle to have the status changed to closed, or those Chargebacks and Adjustments with remaining balances back to open.
