User Roles control permissions for Users to access pages and features within the Comissio system. Comissio includes a default Admin role, and Tenants may create custom roles to meet their access needs.
Access is granted at the Feature level, which corresponds to the top‑level menu items shown across the application.

Step by Step
- From the upper right corner, navigate to User Roles.
- Review the list of existing roles.
- Select Add New Roles.
- Enter the Role Name and optional Description.
- Select Manage Permissions.
- Select the Features the role should have access to.
- Select Save.
After saving, the new Role appears in the Roles list and can be assigned to Users.
Permissions Behavior
- Permissions are granted at the top‑level Feature (top menu item).
- Selecting a Feature grants access to all pages and actions under that menu.
- Individual pages under a Feature cannot be selected independently.
- It is not possible to grant partial, read‑only, or limited access within a Feature.
- Access must be granted for all pages related to the selected Feature.
For example, selecting Agents & Orgs provides access to all Agent and Organization pages, including details, history, statements, and related pages.

Special Permission Dependencies
- View Full SSN or Tax ID
This option can only be selected when Agents & Orgs permission is also enabled.
When enabled, Admin Users can view full tax identification numbers (SSN or Tax ID) instead of only the last four digits in all locations where tax identification information is displayed, including the Agent Detail page. - End of Year 1099 Process
This option can only be selected when Utilities permission is also enabled.
When selected, Users are granted access to the Utilities pages used to process 1099s at year‑end.
