Viewing Application History and Status

How to see the application histories and statuses for all your contacts at once or for an individual on their own.

There are two ways to view application history.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The first way is for looking at a single contact's recent application history.

Go to your list of contacts. (Either hover over Home/Individuals and click contacts or access it while while on your home page).

Click the blue first or last name to access their contact page.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and wait for Application History to finish loading.

Once loaded you would click "View Detail" on the app you want more information on.

This page has the following information:

  • Created date
  • Submitted date (if available or noted when manually logging an app)
  • Effective date
  • OES Application ID (If the carrier/product falls under our Online Application System)
  • Issuer Policy ID and Marketplace ID (also only if available or or noted when manually logging an app)
  • App status (bottom left)
  • Application type (bottom middle)
  • Premium (which you can hover over for a break down)
  • Company
  • Plan Name
  • Plan Type

This page also gives you access to a PDF if the carrier allows for one. (Bottom right, the Adobe logo will be red).

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Second way is from the Contacts page that you clicked on your client from.

Go to contacts.

On the left hand side change the view to "Applications"

It defaults to the last 30 days, but you can change what view it is showing on the left hand side. You can not currently change the default Activity view.

Shows information in the form of columns. What shows up on the columns is controlled by the "Edit Column Data" button in the upper right of the list.

You can also sort through the apps on this list via the "Advance Search" option on the top of the page.

This lets you look for apps by state, carrier, status ect.

The main reason most agents use this view is for a quick glance at what status an app has.

It is useful to see at a quick glance if you have any pending applications.
