How do I record an incoming call?

How to Record an Incoming Call

  1. When an incoming call is received the pop-up window will become the primary focus on the screen and display as shown below:
    1. If the call is from an existing contact, the Contact Name will be displayed under the number
    2. If the call is from an unknown number, you have the option to answer the call and search for an existing contact to link the new number to
      • Or, if the call is from a new contact, you have the option to Accept the call and Create a new Contact
    3. If you simply want to ‘Accept’ or ‘Reject’ the call, the Green Accept button will answer and the Red Reject button will decline the call

  2. Once you accept a call and are actively talking to a client, you will have the ability to record the call once a Contact Record has been created for the Contact.

  3. If you select the ‘Answer & Search’ button you will have to find the contact you want to associate the call to. Once you click on the contact record a pop-up will display informing you that there is an active call and asking if you would like to associate the call with the selected Contact.

*Note: You must accept the legal disclaimer BEFORE you are able to record a call. See screenshots below for what this process looks like:
  4. This is the screen you will see when you first get on a call with a client (note how the ‘Start Recording’ button is showing as grey and will be initially disabled:
  5. To begin recording a call, you must check the checkbox acknowledging and agreeing to all of the statements shown. Once you have done that, the ‘Start Recording’ button will turn orange and be enabled. You can click this button to begin recording the call.
